Frances H. Godfrey (nee Gawloski), beloved wife of George (1985), passed Thursday, November 19 ,2020 at 97 years. Praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who by His shed blood, purchased our salvation. We come boldly to worship Him, in spirit and truth, for the long life granted to her. Frances was present at the farewell of her siblings and spouses, Casey, Stella, Jean, Stanley, Frank, Edward, Hattie and Theresa. Rudolph Zielinsky, age 80, passed away peacefully at Cleveland Clinic Hospital on November 22 , 2020 to join the Lord. Our beloved Rudy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and husband. He was born in southern Pennsylvania and was raised by his mother and father there. Married to his wife, Nancy, for 57 beautiful years. He was a loving father of Mary (husband, Matthew), Patricia (husband, Joseph), Christine (husband, Paul), and John (wife, Theresa). Devoted grandfather to ten children; Kevin (wife, Meghan), Alec (fiancée Monica), Joshua, Katelin (husband, Matthew), Evan, and Madeline, Theresa, and Alayna. Doting great-grandfather of Cayden, Lucas, Ava and Brooks. Rudy was a loving brother to Susan (husband, Bill), John (wife, Reba), Joseph (wife, Colleen), Andrew and Helen. Rudy cherished all his family and friends, and they have been a steady source of joy and pride throughout his life. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and a talented cook. He was also a devoted Catholic and was positive, spiritual, and uplifting even in his final days. Timothy Wilson (May 12, 1966-August 25, 2020) 54 of Garfield Hts. died August 25, 2020 at home.  He was born May 12, 1966 in Cuyahoga County, the son of Clara Marie Boggs Wilson of Canton and the late Richard "R.B." Wilson.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, Goff and Audra Wilson and maternal grandparents, Nathan and Mattie Boggs.  In addition to his mother , survivors include cousins.  A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, at Clover Cemetery, Clover.  Memorial Mass at St. Therese Church on Saturday, November 7, at 10 a.m.  John H. Delores “Dee” Rae Boyer (nee Delia). Born January 19, 1932 and passed away May 6, 2020. Beloved wife of Thomas L.; Dear mother of John J. Boyer, Thomas P. Boyer (MaryAnn) and Lesley Ann Storme (Ken); cherished grandmother of Kelly Ann (Michael), Michelle Marie, Tricia (Josh), Thomas, Mark, Kevin (deceased), Maggie, and Katie Rae. Great-grandmother to Grace, Nathan, Max, Emma, Leo and Connor. Sister of Michele, Anita and Jeanette. Dee loved caring for people, especially her grandchildren and family. Dee was an active member of St Therese Parish in Garfield Heights where she volunteered at weekly Bingo. Dee was always very active and spent much of her time walking, bowling with friends and tending her garden. Dee especially loved traveling and spending summertime in Marblehead with the love of her life, Tom, where they could often be found enjoying ice cream at the family’s favorite local spot. She was adored by everyone in her community, and will be missed greatly. She will continue to live on in the recipes and meals she shared with those she loved the most. She gracefully battled dementia in her final years of life and the family wishes to express their gratitude to The Heights Nursing Home and Harmony Hospice Care. Memorial donations can be sent to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to support critical research. Funeral services at this time are private and a public celebration of life will be held when we are able to safely gather. Interment All Saints Cemetery.

HELEN M. GEIGER (nee Mendlik), age 90, passed away on April 26, 2020. The Most Reverend Richard G. Lennon, Bishop of Cleveland emeritus, died on the morning of Tuesday October 29, fortified by the rites of the Church. He was 72. He served as tenth Bishop of Cleveland from May 15, 2006 until his retirement for health reasons on December 28, 2016. He bore his illness with patience and humility. He will be remembered with gratitude for his tireless dedication to ensuring the stable future of the Diocese of Cleveland, in its parishes, Catholic education, and service to those in need. Obsequies will begin with First Vespers for the Dead at 3pm on Monday November 4th, with lying-in-state and visitation continuing until 7pm. Visitation will resume at 8:30am on Tuesday November 5th until 10:45am, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11am. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
